This sound was from a live video feed on a social media broadcast. At some point the audio just got caught into a feedback loop that lasted for a bit. I thought it sounded interesting and saved it. Has kind of a laser or phaser cannon kind of thing going on. Perhaps an alert sound of some sort. Probably many possibilities for usage.

This is a simple dry (no effects) 4 track recording with just drums bass and 2 guitars. The reason i use 2 guitar tracks is to fatten the sound. It could have been done with just 3 tracks but this is the sound i shoot for in my rhythm tracks.

A long loop of rain, which could be used in a game or other project as-is. The suburban rumble has been filtered out, leaving only the sound of the rain. Drops falling on metal can be heard. ---2 primo em172 capsules -> zoom h1, 300 hertz low-cut filter.
Recorded myself beatboxing at 87 beats per minute. I did three layers, then copied the whole thing, pitch shifted it and put it back in. Enjoy! use for whatever you like. This was just an experiment, so i didn't use a click track. Apologies for any timing issues.

This was recorded during a thunder night in skradin (croatia) in september 2014. A friend and i slept in a tent, but i couldn't with the noise that made the rain. So, i decided to record it with my zoom h4n. . . It's released for public domain: credit is optional, don't worry about it :).

Cymbals were pitch-shifted, compressed, equalized, and subjected to other effects in order to make them capable of filling the roles usually occupied by actual drums. The engine to the hysterical "melody" is formed by a two lfos and a looping envelope performing an ever changing dance of random or maybe chaos. Zooming in and study waveforms in this sound is interesting. The sound is unedited, straight from the analog modular synth. Quantization of the pitch - nope. . .
