I slowly walked through the crowd during this recording. Recorded in a big space with huge ceilings--would be suitable for a theatre, auditorium, rally, sports game, etc. , but an experienced editor might be able to make this into an outdoor scene as well. There might be minimal handling noise.

An unintended recording of me and a passerby walking through very thick and wet mud on the walthamstow marshes. I was out testing new gear and couldn't remove the mics from my rucksack strap to avoid picking up the rustle of my clothing or my occasional heavy breathing. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. A second attempt at recording the deep mud i keep finding myself walking through each morning on walthamstow marshes. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics (connected to a bent wire clothes hanger and positioned about 30cm above my feet). Processing: normalize -1. 0db, low cut filter 100hz, minor noise reduction to reduce background traffic/train noise. I do not require any credit or attribution. A walking recording, starts off with a very noisy garbage truck, then all sorts of other street sounds in east village, nyc. Ends with me entering my apartment building through a double door. Explicit content starts at around -2:00 where a guy wants the *whole* world to hear his drama and he uses some explicit language while i'm waiting to cross the avenue to my building. File also edited a little bit for time.

I recorded this while searching for farm sounds. On the recording you can hear footsteps in the grass, then the opening of the latch in the gate to the field and then further steps. This short recording was made during a sound search in the scotish border area of scotland. I recorded on the zoom h5 handy recorder, i used superlux headphones.
