Dark background sound in place of background music. I recorded this in my booth, using audacity and my cad e100s. The higher sound is a pen tapping on the bottom of a metal cup. I used various effects to stretch, raise pitch, and a few others. I also layered the higher sound 4 times to get the "harmony". The low sound was my voice. I lowered pitch, speed and stretched the wave, as well as a few other effects as well. Enjoy.

This is a basic dubstep beat. It was done in reason 7. It is useful in that it shows you a good way to construct a beat. It consists of four 4-bar measures, each progressing from the previous. In this way, you can see how to write a good beat, by starting off simple and building from there. Traditional dubstep drums are very spare and sporadic with the use of symbols. I never liked drum beats until i heard dubstep !.

Using beepbox. Co, i managed to synthesize the sound of a bus, which sounded a lot like either a 2005 new flyer d40lf bus or a 2008 new flyer d60lf bus, both commonly used by mississauga transit/miway. The 2008 model of this bus is being retired by miway, with only 8 such buses left. Link to the sound on beepbox: https://www. Beepbox.
