I made a series of recordings of urban sounds from my open living room window between late july and early september 2014. These recordings were done at various times of the day. I am using these as quiet background ambiance on a short play due to be performed in the near future. Recorded with a roland r26.

Five varied sounds of a yunzi go stone being played on a couple of boards. First three on a tabletop board with wooden legs, last two on a shin-kaya 19x19 thin board. Recorded using a marantz professional umpire mic. Might be useful for anyone building a software goban.

Stretched sound, good for video games. I made the original sample in fruity loops using the reverse effect on a basic software sample sound. After that i used paul stretcher effect in audacity to stretch everything up and give it a longer feel. Also added little bit of dellay and reverb after stretching it.

A rain and hail storm recorded through my window in my backyard. Sounds are impacts with the ground and pings from a nearby metal fence. Recorded with an at2020 mic. I recorded this for people to be able to freely use this in any type of production they want.
