This nearly trivial example shows what i call "sound transparency". Since sound propagation is a linear phenomena, sound is transparent: the presence of a given sound (here a razor) does not modify the sound quality of an other sound (here a knife being rubbed). You can appreciate the sound quality, timbre, texture, dynamic of each sound even when an other one is present. The second part of the sample is the repetition of the first part, but the two sounds are presented on different channels.
