Audio of a copy of a civil war saber being drawn from the metal scabbard. May require some trimming and buffing. I think i recorded this with an akg perception 200 using cool edit -- and i did it to get my room-mate to leave (after we recorded the sounds of several of his guns and a sword. . . ).

Drops of rain on metal car roof. Recorded with a zoom h4n using onboard stereo mics. Multiband compression and amplification added in adobe audition. Captured inside my toyota 4runner on a rainy night.

Series of sounds produced by opening a window to a pattering rain: first the heavy wooden blinds being cranked open and lifted, then the metal latch being turned, the wood-frame window itself opened and its counterweight clanging in the wall, then the storm or screen window being lifted and popping into place.

quiet noon, cars passing by ambience. Recorded from a second floor balcony using zoom h4n built in stereo microphones.

Sounds of an 1,5 mm aluminium sheet sized 2x1,5 meters. There's also some sounds of paper the sheet was covered with. The recording starts with me sayin "blacha aluminiowa" whitch means "aluminium plate" in polish. Captured with zoom h2 @ 96khz/24-bit.

Squeaky audio cable-to-speaker incomplete connection. One end is plugged into a speaker and the other is not plugged into anything. The squeaking sound is made from my fingers touching the tip and sides of the metal tip of the non-connected end of the cable. The variation of sound and pitch is from moving my fingers up and down the metal tip in different speeds, angles, and placements. The sound has been slowed way down, and the pitch has been taken way down too, to create a low drone sound for industrial purposes or in mad chemistry lab scenes, etc. Anything with a dark, industrial, and slight sci-fi feels.

Looking through a golf bag: in this sound you can hear the clubs hitting each other making a metal sound. Recorded using the zoomh4n and the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. I lowered the volume at certain parts to prevent it clipping. The clubs in the golf bag is a driver, a wedge, a putter and a 6 iron.

For this file, i isolated the samples i liked and left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. Attribution appreciated but not required.
