Musical box playing the bocaggio march (f. Von suppé). It is my own recording my most loved melody played from one of some more 11" metal records on my regina musical box.
This melody of the anthem of this small republic, San Marino, surrounded by Italy and independent since the 4th century is based on a 10th century chorale. There are no official lyrics, but there are unofficial lyrics written by Giosuè Carducci.
I found two melodies in gis_sweden's excellent "you deserve it - friday randomness ii"http://freesound. Org/people/gis_sweden/sounds/362508/. And quantized them into a 92 bpm 4/4 thing. Each melody is presented panned, with and without a beat, then simultaneously. It's sort of an accidental counterpoint. I also messed up his nice analog sound into some harsh digital junk. There's a lot of high frequency energy here so watch it, and apologies to mr. Fletcher, mr. Munson and their daughter, curve.
I played the melody and solo of against all odds by gerald albright (ca. 100 bpm, key: db maj)and put effects on it. I simply took guitar sample and edited it, then i created a beat and added an interesting sound sample, i used it to make sweet melody with some plugins. The soft which i used is just fl studio. This sound is about 2010.

A french accordion sound. I was looking for an accordion sound to create a french or parisian atmosphere. Couldn't find one, so i created this, using the accordion voice on a yamaha keyboard. Loopable. Fairly generic melody. No attribution required. Enjoy!.
