Why does everything i upload sound like people screaming and/or chainsaws!?. Sound source is a contact mic producing feedback into various fx. The main fx used for the clip are a sirkut electronics gnarler, boss metal zone, dod grunge, and finally, a danelectro french fries auto wah. Recorded direct-to-sound card as usual. This is a sample taken from a longer piece.

This is a fragment from the aria ah mes amis at a lower pitch and badly performed. Iintend to use it for a coursera homework (audio signal processing for music applications). The intention is to transpose it and simulate a morfing like a falseto to the true key where the tenor hits high c, which i obviously cannot hit, otherwise i wouldn't be taking coursera courses and uploading to freesound. . .

This is a sound i created specifically for a video a made a while back. It is heavily distorted, meant to sound like punches/blows to something or someone - sort of ip-man style. The original recording was done by repeatedly tapping a table with my fingers, so if you want to create something similar but without the distortion, think in that direction.

Well, the closest i could get, anyway. Technically, it's a banana. One sudden peel, truncated, modified and reversed in various ways until it sounded (to me) like it could vaguely represent the sound of sewing. . . . Not that sewing by hand actually makes much of a sound. Recorded for the point-and-click adventure game, "the beard in the mirror": http://store. Steampowered. To me the final effect sounded like a haunted space ship. I began with a 10 second sample of ordinary speech then lowered the pitch, stretched the wave pattern, added echo and reverb. Then i copied portions of the wave pattern to a new track and mixed the two into a mono track. Did this several times while also using noise reduction and normalization.

At the Mountains of Madness, H. P. Lovecraft "Another race - a land race of beings shaped like octopi and probably corresponding to fabulous pre-human spawn of Cthulhu - soon began filtering down from cosmic infinity and precipitated a monstrous war which for a time drove the Old Ones wholly back to the sea - a colossal blow in view of the increasing land settlements."

This is a classic theta brainwave entrainment sound made by two sine waves. The pitch shifts gently to produce some slow variation of the actual speed of the pulse. You can use it as a track and add voice (like relaxation or visualization), or just use as is to promote deep relaxation or trance. The pulses are about 8 hz (cycles per second).

Recording from a garden in the new forest, hampshire, uk in january. I happened to put the recorder right next to where a bird (blackbird i think) decided to perch and start singing, so the song is really loud in places. All sorts of background people noise like diy, chainsaw, voices, etc. Zoom h5, internal xy capsules.

Heard this out my window at 11:30 at night, 05/14/20, central new jersey. Probably a fox. From some brief research into fox calls (there are over 40 known calls) with this video https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=j6nuhlibhsm it sounds like either an alarm bark or vixen scream.

I am recording this drum's resonance mainly for an ebay post. . . . Not sure if i can embed on ebay. I like the drum but i have too many drums. 1 drum appears to be a lone tabla drum longing for a partner and a drummer who knows how to play it the :"right way". . . Here i appear to be falling into mostly simplistic rhythms that are intermittant. . . . Peace. . . .

Here goes that couple again. This is another day time one so they weren't making as much noises as they usually would. They were going at it for at least 15 minutes and kept it real quiet. Sounds like they didn't really enjoy their pleasure in bed. You can hear the woman curse at her guy. The sex parts are from 2:15-12:45. The clip was shortened and edit with audacity.

Did this little piece of dark instrumental music in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. Came up with this drumbeat and added strings, guitar, bass and piano on top of it. Named it "darkest hour" cause it has this dark doomy "world is going under"-element to it i think. Think it would work great to a game, youtube-channel, episode, movie or whatever you feel like. Could be perfect in a creepy part for instance. Feel free to use it as you like as long as you subscribe to and watch my channel! if you wanna use it in your music and gonna release it, ask me first. Don't wanna see my music copyrighted by someone else of course. Be cool watch and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uca8o46_wrqzehsdzuwfq3rq. A plastic bag, paper wrapper and other materials were recorded individually being rubbed. I then layered them in audacity to be played over each other. From the resulting layered sound i generated this 10 second loop. Sounds like a mellow rain upon the ground or a slow crackling fire. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Attribution appreciated but not required.

I used one of those blank plastic cds that you sometimes get when you buy cd holders. I broke it up into many pieces and dropped them multiple times adding on the ending to make it sound like the leftover pieces bounce. Sorry about the backround noises, recorded on a laptop with the fan running and a tv in the backround. Came out pretty good though. I was satisfied in the end though.

This monstrosity is what i got when i attempted to add a reduce vocals effect to an episode of an old low-budget nickelodeon show from the 90s. I don't know why, but trying to apply this effect to it only gave me this horrific garble. Kinda like a messed up tape recorder or something, idk. Anyways, this is my first sound effect on this site and i'd love to hear your thoughts. Made with wavepad.

Raw audio of me typing on my old perkins brailler, this time with a sheet of paper in it. I believe something was wobbling around the desk and i couldn't get rid of that noise with audacity, however it isn't all that unnatural for an object to be vibrating or wobbling when someone is typing on a heavy brailler like this. Recorded with a zoom h1n.

The track was taken of a swiftair boeing 734-400 freighter flew over when landing at leipzig-halle airport (germany) on march 06, 2021. Equipment used for recording was a zoom h5 stereo field recorder + 2 rode ntg2 shotgun mics. Registration of the plane was ec-nml. The slight background noise comes from a nearby motorway. . . A whole buddhism ceremony in nepal. The ceremony was open for tourists. In the beginning of the recording monks play plates, drums and horns. In the middle of the recording the monks practice their ceremony with drums and without drums only repeating something that sounds like a mantra. In the end of the recording the monks play plates, drums and horns again. Recorded with zoom h2 in kathmandu in nepal in spring 2015.

There is a vent in my house that sounds fantastic when it rains. The drops hitting the tin cover sound almost like popping popcorn in this recording, but it's a more friendly sound in person. The rain outside is very much present in the background, but the bouncing raindrops are very easy to hear. Recorded on a windows x8 phone and left as-is. If you use it, shout-outs welcome: production-now. Com.
