I recorded my voice while watching and listening to funny stuff to force real laughs out of me. This way i can have real laugh clips for stock instead of trying to fake it.

I recorded the noise of a mac donald's restaurant, you can hear machines in their kitchens, a few steps, something is thrown in the trash. There are few people in this restaurant, i am almost alone in this part of the restaurant. + airing noises.

Bass with variations made on modular synth. The original wave is a sin-wave. . . I think number six i my favorite. Number ten is quite funky too.

I make a lot of my own samples for my music. They are often for use in granular synthesis or manipulated so that they become unrecognizable. I like to make them available for everyone. Enjoy!.

This is as named, how i made these is not important. Ideally i imagine these appearing in a victorian period drama featuring adrien brody and sam neill.

Created to sound like a spinning newspaper, this is actually the audio from scribbling a blunt pencil on some paper in a quick, circular motion. I couldn't find anything like it when i searched, so hopefully this will be of use to someone!.

Had a short relaxing session with my modular. I wanted to use the "divide by 64" patch and make some generative sounds/music. I added some mixer feedback. This is a patch for 2 voices.

Hi hat treble beat with a sweep - i composed this for a melodic synthesized track i made. Can be repeated for a beautiful treble beat loop. No specific bpm, should be time stretched accordingly.

Sound of my binger wristwatch ticking. I used phase cancellation to get rid of the noise floor except for the ticks. At lower volumes it sounds very convincing. I draped the watch over my microphone - the blue yeti pro.

This sound was made by me, i tied down my canon powershot a460 digital camera inside the engine bay of my 1993 rover 620si, and it's got a petrol honda engine, no turbo on this version. I had my video recording on my camera in the engine bay while i was driving. I started the engine up and took it for a drive. I simply took the sound off the video. I hope you enjoy this sound. :) please note, anybody is free to use this sound, you don't have to credit me, but it would be fun to hear how you use my sound if possible. :) here is the link to the type of licence i use. I have made a patch that generates drones. Lets call this generative. . . I use feedback on my spring reverb. I only use one filter. The drone is structured by a triangle lfo and 2 comparators. It's tricky to balance the patch to give varying and interesting results. The drone is made with a 100% analog modular synth.

This sound was recorded with an ipod touch (5th gen). I was in need of some sword sound effects for a project i'm working on, and after i made these, i figured i'd give them away for free here on freesound!. The sound you hear is actually just a couple of large kitchen spatulas clashing together.

An interesting recording of birds, led by blue jays, doing their alarm calls. I was in the middle of the woods when i noticed that the birds seemed to be alarmed like there was a predator nearby and sure enough, i finally spotted a big barred owl sitting high in a tree about 50 yards from my recorder. Pretty amazing how the bird community sounds the alarm.

I'm trying to create an intense plasma burst for a project i'm working on, and i found two great sounds from users chipfork (https://freesound. Org/people/chipfork/sounds/73226/) and john129pats (https://freesound. Org/people/john129pats/sounds/147908/). I decided to take the charge from chipfork's and slow it down and the burst from john129pats' and give it a bit more bass and some reverb, resulting in exactly what i need.

Me saying "party', recorded on my sony ic recorder icd-ux533f then using 'change pitch' in audacity i changed it to the key of c for use in my daw as a really corny sample. Yours to use, you don't have to give credit but i would love to know if you used it for anything, leave a link. . (as you can tell i do like dance music. ).

Today i was cleaning the house on a leisurely sunday, and came across a piece of thicker paper by my printer. When i picked it up to put it in recycling, it was rather loud. There have been many times on jobs where i needed such a sound, and thought it would be a good asset to record and share. Hopefully it comes in handy for others needing this element. Recorded in stereo with 2 at-2020s. Lots of variety in handling and plenty to pull from. Enjoy!.

This is a sound i made in audacity by recording myself going "vvvvvvvvvvvvvv. . . " on two separate tracks and slowing them both down by 95% and adding a little bit of reverb. I think it's sort of convincing but i think it would be better if the pulse of the samples being copied a bunch of times kind of gives it away. Feel free to do what you like with it.

I'm finally back! anyways, i thunk about making objects but using spectrogram. So i visited chrome music lab, opened spectrogram, and started recording. It took a while to make the sound, but here we are. When you see what it looks like in chrome music lab, you can see my ball, now look, i'm not a master at doing objects in spectrogram, but i tried!.

Created from my "alternating square" sound. I edited the pitch, and looped it a bit, to give it an"alarm", or "siren" sound. -----------------------------------------------------------------------. This sound, like everything i upload here,is completely free for anyone to use. You may use it however you please. I hope it is useful. đŸŽ¶.

All i did is that i recorded and played a little riff on my violin with my ipad, and then add some reverb, and delay effects in audacity. (very eerie-like, but pretty). This kind of reverb used in the beginning and end of the riff is a cathedral room-like sound, and a few seconds of delay. I used mostly double-stops during the riff. Enjoy.

It is 5 am. I need some birdsounds for the project i work on. But the city is so loud. I only can do it very early in the morning. The background noise is due to the 1 million airconditioning machines in abu dhabi. Binaural recording with soundman okm`s and a h4n. If you want to support my work, please visit:jardinsonore(. )bandcamp(. )comthere you find a lot more.

I just pitch up my voice where it's at a comfortable level and not at the highest peak in pitch. I slowly ease into the vocal sound to avoid any vocal damage. While i'm easing in there's a very quiet high pitch whistle coming from the back of my throat, too quiet for the microphone. Sometimes while recording i do get a squeak and a crackle sound that gets picked up, but none of that here.
