Recorded on 20. 05. 2020 on schneealpe in styria, austria. Its funny - and a bit scary - that one can see the exact crevice the recording took place from a satellite. There was a bit of snow left from winter but rapidly melting. Drops fall from 30 cm to the rock below in different rhythms. Recorded with 2 km184 ab ~40cm apart into sounddevices 744. Unfortunately i had no proper windscreen and so there is quite some rumble up to 120hz. The rumble can be filtered out easily, but i left the recording as is (i normalized and converted from 96k to 48k in audacity).

An old project (2017, 4 years ago) i never uploaded anywhere before. I hope that others will take inspiration from this. This is practically a sequel to "muffled warfare" that i never released, and have titled it so. Inspired by this war of mine. A collection of sounds muffled and mixed together to create a warfare soundscape heard from within a church. A lone individual sifts through the scraps of war, and checks the worldwide news from his radio. The war marches on around them, however, and he must move on.

Note: i have created a newer version which has better looping. It is called drum beat loop 2. 0. This is a drum beating. It is 12 seconds long but can be looped. It was createdusing ableton live (including plugins like acdgen, drumbrain, and polyrandom). The files were then combined and edited using audacity. Feel free to comment your opinions on this. Note: while this did loop just fine in my tests, some software don't handle the looping as well (like groove music pauses before repeating). If the looping doesn't work the first time, try using a different software. You can easily do this on a windows pc by right clicking on the file and pressing open with (i am sure there is also a way to do this on a macbook but i have never used one so i am not sure how you would do it). Enjoy!.

I couldn't find any good giant wings flapping here, so i made my own and am now sharing them so nobody else has to! screw paying for sounds! made from a combination of pizza box lids, sheets, and a bit of sound design. You don't even have to credit me because i mean. . . Who even does that? and why? who's gonna track down a foley artist from the credits of a show for a random sound? just check out the sonic realms podcast if you like audiodramas and role playing games; there's nothing else like it. That's something i would appreciate. But only if you feel like it. Enjoy and use the hell outta the totally free sound!.

Thrilling and cool music i made in garageband for something called victors crypt!. Made this drumbeat with a lot of percussions. After i recorded the bass i decided to go with an "airy" guitar with a lot of reverb in the chords. I added electric guitar and a synth-choir as well. Could be useful in anything cool, intro, outro, game, dark, eerie, spooky, creepy, scary, horrific, mysterious, crime-ish, thrilling or whatever comes to mind. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool, watch and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. This is sound was designed to start out loosely spaced, in conjunction with other sounds, and tighten up to build tension before a drop. I use it in offset pattern as a "call response". I had to keep it under 2 seconds to remain viable at the precipice. Soloed, sequenced, or combined to create a new sound. Have fun with no string attached!. Key: a♭ minoralt key: 1abpm 107.

During a recent wandering in one of the many woods around me i found this wonderful small creek which, even though small, had a nice flow to it thanks to some recent rain. As i sat down to record the soothing sound of the riffles, a group of chickadees decided to come check me out. Enjoy.

A random sound i created for one of my animation. I really don't know what kind of sound do you call it but it is usually used when having a "dramatic" label. Well, whatever that is. Nevermind. Feel free to use it. This sound was achieved by recording myself pounding my table once and slowed it down in audacity while adding a bit reverb to it.

Fairly clean recording of a basket full of various objects, including some glass, being thrown down a flight of stairs. I recorded this for my web series, a quick buck, available for viewing at: http://www. Youtube. Com/vinceemerson. Credit would be appreciated but it's not required. I really don't care.

An ambient sort of sound done by doodling around in photosounder. Using the white spray with the harmonics on i drew two squiggly lines across the image horizontally, then flipped the image 90 degrees counter-clockwise, then with a wide dark brush i darkened some areas of the image to make the sound progress for a narrow band continuous noise to a full bandwidth squiggly kind of noise.

A short piece of melody. . . Sound is an artifact extracted from one of test records in new audacity. It sounds like a saw. . . Or something? idk. This piece sounds kinda exotic because i used the second half of harmonic e-minor scale. So some people could use this combination (descending harmonic scale) before (even now i can remember two examples. ).

A synth line i made for the 127 search ;) i made this one on reason. Used three thor modules, effected each one differently. Gave two a delay of different time panned opposite, and the other a reverb. This is in the key of g. 楽しみます.

I was on a walk and i decided to go under a busy bridge to record some foley. I'm about 4 feet from the top of the bridge and it was fairly large so there will be some reverberation. There was also a river nearby, around 10 meters away. This sound is in open domain, use it freely without need for retribution or credit.

Test of how uoki-toki polivoks vcf handles sin-wave (ca 270hz) when the filter is self-oscillating. I bring the uoki-toki polivoks vcf to self-oscillation and tune the vcf to ca 270hz too. I let the lfo sweep the frequency. Cv1 pot at ca 100%. Hmmm interesting. . . .

Looks like that couple next door is back at it again. You can hear them noises of them having conversations and when they're going at it. I decided to make this audio clip long since i haven't heard from them for a while. The sex noise parts are around 9:30 to 26:00. A lot of the parts were amplified.

Self-created fire alarm. The idea is based on the typical fire alarm in buildings and was supplemented by a typical (slightly pitched) sound sequence of the us emergency vehicles. The sounds and the composition were created completely with audacity. I would be happy about suggestions for improvement and how you have used the sound sequence. I used it as a fire alarm in my home automation.

Warning!! loud!!!. Okay, so i record narrations, and some are of my. . . Longer stories. . . This particular one was so tedious to read, i literally basked in the sweet glory of finally recording the whole story. You might be all like, "dood, it's not that big of a deal. . . " yes. Yes it was. Xd.

Better set on monoaural on your daw if possible due to the off-center recording. Having been a bit ill on some rich iron content food i couldn't stomach (offal it was, it was the sheep fried liver who was the culprit - the very rich iron content upset my stomach pretty bad - was looking for something "new". ). Keep in mind that i am unable to do this as a request for obvious reasons including health, livelihood and risk of damage to equipment. I tried very hard to avoid shaking the zoom as not to make the wobbling sounds. If i am ill again, i'll use my ma-2 (microphone stick) and gravity microphone stand and get a real good recording of real vomiting but keep in mind this was recorded in my showerroom so some er may occur.

Creepy but sweet music i made in garageband for something called victors crypt!. It starts full on with drums, bass and guitars and more. I added strings, piano and key-instruments for an eerie yet groovy vibe. In the drumbreak i let a flute do the talking. I believe this could be used for and intro/outro, something a bit scary, spooky, weird, thrilling, horrific, cool or anything you can think of. You'll be the judge. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool, watch and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Recording of parakeets being loud in springfield park in easy london at 7:30am in november. This was an unintentional recording as i was testing out some new gear, this meant that i wasn't able to unclip the mics from my rucksack straps and avoid picking up the rustle of my clothes and some breathing. A train and canal boat engines can be heard in the background. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. If any of these sounds have been of help, and you are feeling charitable, please do consider donating to freesound to help keep the site running (a link is also on the home page). Any donations are greatly appreciated!.

Originally made for the disquiet junto project 0433: "kit bits: create a kit’s worth of percussion samples. ". I used 1. Recordings with a telephone coil microphone recording sounds from an external blu ray drive and a smartphone (telephone coil recorded via behringer xenyx q1202 usb mixer, line-in) and 2. Random recordings from a soma ether device (recorded with zoom h1n, line-in). In these recordings i picked up those areas which i though to be useful for a drum kit, just as i would do it for myself. This track contains all samples in no special order in one file. All samples my own, released into cc0 public domain. Would be nice to hear if someone does something with it. August 2020, 44,1 khz, 16 bit, flac.
