A bit of spooky music i made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. I made some chords and tones with an organ-sound with a lot of delay and effects on it. Added other eerie sounding noises and voila, a scary bit of music. Think it would fit anything creepy, scary, haunted. Fantasy, horror, terrifying, dystopia or whatever comes to mind. I wanted to create a sound that is scary. I was inspired by sounds for jumpscare sequences in horror movies. So here i generated an audio track and i added a « batterie risset » on it. It gaves a sound that sounds like a bell so i duplicated it 3 times more on 3 different audio tracks. Once done, i accelarated and turn up the volume on the second audio track a bit more compared to the first audio track. I repeated it on the 2 other tracks to give the impression that something is getting closer to us. After that, i generated a new audio track with a tone, i put it on overlap with the forth track and i highly turn up the volume to create a saturation in order to strongly surprise the listener. To finish, i checked that the final mixed track was not saturated, except the sequence i wanted to be saturated, and i exported the sound.

This is some small patterns i made and mixed basic filters time pitch all accross and finally put some bells with a very very short programmed arpeggiator. You will not hear the arpeggiator over all the other effects ;).

The last performance at the circus ended hours ago, all the performers are fast asleep resting up for the following days schedule. . . Well except for one particular clown. I created this with my yamaha keyboard and a roland vs840 digital studio workstation back in the 90's.

Single-pitch heavy distortion with multi-layer. Mild modulation. Made for a emotionally intense moment in a horror film. Toward the middle you will hear a very quiet rhythmic element. Used a roland groovebox self-sample utility directly to wav, which results in good recordings, though reduced high frequencies.

Suicidal pill was played originally on a grand piano. The melody is looped, becoming more distorted each time.

The soundscape is created by using behringers pro-1 and crave. I recorded into logic via a yamaha mixer and steinbergs ur22 mk1. In logic i destroyed the sound completely with a bunch of effects. Effects used: space delay, microphaser, a vocoder and of course my beloved bitcrusher. Did some equalizing too.

This is a recording of the sea-side. The wind noise was was difficult to remove (i hadn't used a wind shield for the microphone); so i decided to use it as part of a sound designed piece. I would use this as background for gaming or for radio drama; you may use it however you wish.

It is a very strange sound:) made by my reloop rmx-30 dj mixer's and sb live soundcard's bug! there could be a malfunction and when i used the gain potmeter the sound from nowhere (the cable, the mixer, the soundcard, don't know. . ) became mad. It is travelling on freaky frequencies which makes your ear bad. It is worth to listen:) pure hardware sound.
