I searched for a long time to find a jaws harp sample and eventually found one and successfully extracted a few notes from a very old appalachian folk song field recording, well out of copyright. I sampled a single note, which then fed ok into a midi keyboard, allowing me to effectively play jews harp melodies. The result was pretty ok.

Heavily processed sounds form the symbiotic waves module by pittsburgh modular. Filtered through the intellijel atlantis filter. Effects were minifooger chorus and occasionally strymon delay or flint. The name give a hint which oscillator model and processor were used.

For this sound i used 4 differents kind of tonality :440 hz392 hz349,2 hz329,6 hzand then i used the effect low and high and i put an higher pitched sound to make a sound more like videogames style, just like my other sound named stagecleared. Skates on ice: here is a very specific sound effect. The metallic slash through ice when it is being skated on. There are multiple variations of this in this track due to the amount of contact the blade of the skate has to the ice and also the force being put into the movement. It is a sharp and cold sound. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg.

The sea was fairly choppy/rough and this is a recording of the waves crashing against a break water/wall with some occasional spraying sounds. Theres a great stereo effect of the waves hitting from left to right. Could be a good sound for any on boat/stormy sea needs.

24 bit 44100 khz sound recorded with zoom h6. The area is very close to the magical small village of krippen, germany. The river flows undisturbed - at some point though you can hear a car passing by. Its tires interact with the wet asphalt creating yet another interesting sound effect.

I caught this pair of canadian geese flying overhead and landing in a nearby pond during lockdown in orpington. March 17th 2021 at 0630am. The a21 is ever present but a lot less traffic noise at this time of day.

An old hard drive booting up and being shut off with a very noisy fan. I recorded it very close to the source. Could be used for rickety spacecraft or diy science project sounds.

A solo violin sample from edirol orchestral was used a base, using pitch bend and then layering against pitch shifted copies of the original. Then lots and lots and lots of reverb and maybe other effects. I spent way too long on this for no certain outcome but actually it was perfect for the radio drama i was theoretically producing it for.
