Just a small creak from the chair in the office of a whalewatching captain i was interviewing. A bit of ambient noise. Not much of a contribution, i know, but i've been using little creaks such as this to recreate the sound of a 15th-century sailing ship, so thought it might come in useful for someone somewhere.
I have this drummer's stool that creaks when you rotate it. So this is that sound. Metal scraping against metal through reverb, echo, and harmony pedals into a delay/looper.
The synthetic mooring ropes of a cruise liner around a bollard creak under the strain as the ship moves. The ship's gangplank groans in the background as it rubs against the paving of the quayside.
A mixed track to simulate the sounds of a building that has been ripped from the foundation and landed upside down on another building and is teetering about to colapse.
A montage, originally made for a production of shakespeare's "the tempest" of a storm at sea. Wind, waves, thunderclaps and the sound of creaking timbers.
A single creaking wooden floor step. This is one of 7 similar sounds and one longer recording with 4 creaks in the same sound pack. Cc0, so no need to give credit. If you want, let me know what you used the sounds for as i really like hearing about other people's projects :).

This is the sound of a wooden bench opening and closing including the creak of the hinges. I used this to simulate the sound of a piano cover being opened. Recorded with a zoom h4.
Raw binaural recording of a creaking floor, a radio with static being turned on and off, and a light switch being flicked. Best heard using earphones. Recorded using roland cs-10em with a sony icd-px470. Feel free to let me know what you do with the sound. :).
