Wrote/recorded a free orchestral tune at 175-bpm using ableton live 9. Ableton stock plugins used: braskinski, grand pianoezdrummer2 used for percussion sections. Kontact5 used for trumpet, trombone, string, bass sections. Guitarrig5 used for electric guitar elements. -15. 0 lufs integrated. -2. 1 db true peak max. Recording of my duduk. It's in the key of a, so i played a b3 and pitched it up to c3 with melodyne so it's usable in a sampler or to import as a wavetable in serum or whatever. Because of it's harmonic content, it actually works great as a clean yet relatively translatable sub bass for electronic music. I used it to make a wavetable in serum which works perfectly. The instrument is a double reed woodwind folk instrument from armenia, the reeds are made of a flattened piece of bamboo, and the body is made of the wood from an apricot tree. And it's history dates back to approximately 1200bc. Enjoy!.

1:56 field recording of exterior daytime environmental windy day in an exposed lincolnshire countryside location, but with mics completely shielded inside a bus-shelter for a less in your face perspective. Mics are pointed upwards into the wooden box roof of the shelter, which has added a somewhat eerie and disconcerting lower mid rumble to the scene. Recorded with a balanced stereo pair of mics and edited to remove intrusions.

Bi-drum finale. This sound provides an impact point, an action conclusion suggestion. I combined two drum sound samples, one of the impact with a deep echo, and one a hollow wood tube strike against a hard object to a certain rhythm. The sound is somewhat like the primal drum sounds used in survivor. I used magix music maker, magix software gmbh (www. Magix. Com) with two object plug-ins; solar wood 6_ogg_001. Snippets from recordings of me playing the tanpura. The strings are tuned to b, d, g and e, so would work well in the keys of g or e minor. I noticed that my first pack of tanpura samples has a bit of fuzzy white noise so in this pack i have equalized - i reduced all the very high frequencies which got rid of most of the white noise without affecting the low frequency sounds of the tanpura itself. Please note this is the tanpura part of an instrument called the swar sangam which combines the swarmandal (indian harp) and the tanpura, it is not a traditional tanpura and does sound slightly different.

You can put this audio file in a splicer to make custom drum beats.

This is the sound of a clock ticking, if you can believe it! i added reverb to it and sloooooowed it doooooown to about -81 percent of it's original speed. I think this sounds like an air-conditioner going off in a cathedral. (see tags. ) i hope you can use this and i hope you download the other "big room ambiences" i create. Made back in 2005 for a slasher rap beat on fl4 or 5. . Used strings and a dark pad, also a slap bass. I was really into bone thugs n harmony back then, so i really wanted to take the gangsta feel to a whole different level. . It just turned into a slasher thriller horror type beat. .
